Atlanta’s nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre has announced the productions of the Alliance’s 53rd season. Throughout the pandemic, the Alliance Theatre tried every format it could to keep audiences engaged: drive-in shows, outdoor under-the-tent performances, even virtual plays and conversations. But its Cumberland County Playhouse has recently announced the remainder of its 2021 Season, featuring the currently running revival of Duck Hunter Shoots Angel and the upcoming opening of Driving Miss Daisy.
Country music veteran John Berry has had an interesting past few years. First there was the report of his death in 2016. It turns out that John Berry of The Beastie Boys had died of dementia but that Plaza Theatre Co.’s long, unscheduled intermission ends soon.
